Hand out a professional syllabus on the first day. This English Language Course template covers 8 schedule blocks starting with introductions and small talk.
Example grading weights: Speaking assessments 30%; Writing portfolio 25%; Listening and reading tests 25%; Participation 20% (they add up to 100%). The schedule table lists 8 two-week blocks such as Introductions and small talk, Everyday situations, Describing the past, Making plans, each with a column for assignments and assessments.
Header: colour block header; headings: shaded sections. The palette is Burgundy: #7A1F3D, #B3546D and accent #866E41. It runs 1 page.
You receive a single ZIP file containing a US Letter DOCX file, an A4 DOCX file, a Fonts folder with the TTF files and the font licence and a short read-me with editing tips.
Headings use the free font Oswald and Atkinson Hyperlegible (SIL Open Font License); the TTF files are in the Fonts folder of the ZIP. Install them before you open the template to see the exact look in the previews. Body text is Atkinson Hyperlegible, and if a font is missing your program simply substitutes a similar one.
Nothing is flattened into a picture: tables, text and shapes can all be edited, resized or recoloured. Topics and weights are suggestions; change them to match your own course.
Works with word processors that support editable DOCX documents. Instant digital download. Save the template once and reuse it as many times as you need.
