Item details
Plan the term and set expectations in one document. Written for Grades 5-8, it includes objectives, materials, a weighted grading breakdown and classroom policies.
Example grading weights: Playing tests 35%; Rehearsal participation 25%; Theory work 20%; Concert 20% (they add up to 100%). The schedule table lists 8 two-week blocks such as Reading rhythm, Pitch and notation, Ensemble listening, Instrument technique, each with a column for assignments and assessments.
Header: underline header; headings: ruled sections. Colours follow a Lemon Slate palette with main colour #4A5568 and accent #866800. It runs 1 page.
One ZIP holds the whole product: a US Letter DOCX file, an A4 DOCX file, a Fonts folder with the TTF files and the font licence and a short read-me with editing tips.
Included in the ZIP: the free Comfortaa and Lora font files (SIL Open Font License) used for headings. Body text uses Lora. Install the fonts before editing so the layout matches the preview exactly.
Nothing is flattened into a picture: tables, text and shapes can all be edited, resized or recoloured. Topics and weights are suggestions; change them to match your own course.
Works with word processors that support editable DOCX documents. This is a digital download with no physical item. Edit, save and print as often as you like for your own use.
