The foundation edition of this science gradebook puts 60% on knowledge, with 20% each for investigations and explanation. Its 40-person register converts entered marks into a weighted percentage and a letter band. Blank assessments are omitted and the available positive weights are renormalised for that learner. Review lower scores using the separate band-count table.
For science, distinguish knowledge checks from investigation work and explanation. An investigation score might come from an observation record, while explanation assesses how evidence supports a conclusion. Decide your scoring rubric outside the workbook and enter comparable marks. The sheet combines that evidence mathematically without deciding which scientific conclusions are valid.
One ZIP supplies the XLSX workbook, Poppins, Nunito OFL fonts with their licence, and README.txt. The instruction tab explains how to clear worked inputs. Design: matcha.
