A timesheet whose hours formula handles shifts that cross midnight, with break minutes and weekly overtime.
Worked setup for night shift timesheet: 1 weekly block(s), an hourly rate of $26, a 36-hour weekly threshold and a 1.25 overtime multiplier. 5 workdays contain illustrative clock times and break entries. Change the pay inputs to reflect your own agreed arrangement before entering actual hours.
'Timesheet' holds 1 week block; each row has a date (from the week-start cell), weekday, time in, time out, break minutes, hours, regular and overtime columns, and a note. Hours use ROUND(MOD(out-in,1)*24 - break/60, 2), so overnight shifts work; overtime is counted per week after 36 hours. A pay summary adds total, regular and overtime hours and multiplies by the rate and overtime multiplier for gross pay.
Example hours cover the first 5 days.
