A trip budget with a home/local currency switch on every line, an editable exchange rate and budget per person and per day.
'Trip Budget' starts with boxes for 2 travellers, 10 days, a Local currency exchange rate and a total budget, then lists 10 items such as return flights and spare cash. Each item takes quantity or days and a unit cost in either your home or the local currency; one IF formula converts local costs at the exchange-rate cell. 'By Category' adds the 5 categories with SUMIF and plots them. Under the table you get totals, budget left, planned cost per day and per person per day.
Budget-left cell turns red when you plan more than you have.

Item names and prices are invented examples in round numbers; the exchange rate is a made-up figure you should replace with a current one.

The workbook contains 79 formulas. Its ink and gold design uses coloured input cells and separate calculation cells. Unzip and install the included typefaces before opening the sheet.
Works with spreadsheet software supporting XLSX + ODS files. Digital download; no macros or external data connections.
Live charts are in the XLSX version. The ODS copy retains the input cells, working formulas and numerical summaries without embedded chart objects.
