A one-page hourly invoice for freelance designers: description, hours and rate lines, discount, tax, deposit and an automatic due date.
The 'Invoice' sheet is a one-page portrait layout: business block, invoice number and date, terms, a client block, 12 line rows (Description of work, Hours, Rate columns and an Amount formula) and a notes area. Totals run in this order: sub-total, discount %, Sales tax at 0%, total, deposit and balance. The description cells have a dropdown fed by 5 service names on 'Lists'. A VLOOKUP on the 'Lists' sheet turns the payment terms you pick into a due date.
Example lines are for freelance design work: Brand discovery workshop; Logo concepts (3 directions); Logo refinement and revisions.
