Item details
A course syllabus for High School English (Grades 9-12) with a pre-filled weekly schedule, grading table and policy prompts.
Example grading weights: Essays and writing portfolio 35%; Reading responses 20%; Tests and quizzes 20%; Discussion and presentations 15%; Homework and participation 10% (they add up to 100%). The schedule table lists 8 two-week blocks such as Short stories and narrative elements, Argument and persuasive writing, Poetry and figurative language, The novel: theme and character, each with a column for assignments and assessments.
Header: colour block header; headings: ruled sections. The palette is Copper: #9C5A32, #D08C60 and accent #264653. It runs 1 page.
You receive a single ZIP file containing a US Letter DOCX file, an A4 DOCX file, a Fonts folder with the TTF files and the font licence and a short read-me with editing tips.
Headings use the free font Lora and Nunito (SIL Open Font License); the TTF files are in the Fonts folder of the ZIP. Install them before you open the template to see the exact look in the previews. Body text is Nunito, and if a font is missing your program simply substitutes a similar one.
All text is live and editable. Click into a block, replace the guidance text, and adjust colours, spacing or fonts with the standard formatting tools. Topics and weights are suggestions; change them to match your own course.
Works with Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer and Google Docs. Instant digital download. Save the template once and reuse it as many times as you need.
