The 6 labeled cards read as follows: Light source: The Sun or a lamp emits light. Opaque object: Blocks light from passing through. Shadow: Forms on the side away from the light source. Changing size: Moving an object nearer a small light source can make its shadow larger. Transparent: Allows much light to pass through. Translucent: Lets light through but scatters it. The reminder at the bottom reads: Never look directly at the Sun or shine a bright light into anyone’s eyes.
