These 26 worksheets give pre-writers dot-to-dot outlines, with the dots spaced to suit a pencil or fine marker. The font is a clear school-style sans with single-storey a and g, and each page carries a sage and cream colour scheme (forest green, green, orange and white). Each of the 26 pages is devoted to one lowercase letter, a to z. At the top a shaded panel pairs a solid coloured model with a large traceable copy; below are five guide-line rows that move from fully traced to blank, so the child writes more independently as the page goes on.
Every row has three guide lines: a light top line, a dashed midline set at the font's x-height and a darker baseline, so children can see where capitals, small letters and tall letters should land. You receive a US Letter PDF and an A4 PDF, each 26 pages, plus 26 300-dpi PNG pages (US Letter) in a single ZIP.
The characters are traced around their outline; the pages do not include stroke-order arrows or numbered start points. Pages print well on a home printer in black and white or colour, and laminate nicely for reusable practice. Use them for take-home packets, quiet-time folders and literacy stations.
Works with software that imports the supplied file formats. Use them in your own products and for clients without credit; just do not resell the letter files as clip art, an alphabet pack or a font.
