Early writers practise with 26 printable pages of dotted outlines made of round dots that follow the edge of every letter. The letterforms use a clear school-style sans with single-storey a and g, and the pages are decorated in pink, orange, gold and teal. Each of the 26 pages is devoted to a single capital letter, A to Z. A shaded panel at the top shows the letter as a solid coloured model beside a large traceable copy. Underneath sit five guide-line rows: the first starts with a solid model and continues with traced copies, the second is fully traced, the third and fourth fade out to a few copies, and the last is blank for free practice.
The guide lines are a light top line, a coloured dashed midline at x-height and a solid baseline; descenders drop below the baseline into extra room. The ZIP contains a 26-page PDF for US Letter, a 26-page PDF re-laid out for A4, and 26 PNG pages at 300 dpi (2550 x 3300 px) for US Letter.
Letters are traced around their shape rather than along a stroke path, and there are no stroke-order arrows. Use plain paper for pencil practice, or laminate a page and let children write with a washable marker. Handy for sub plans, homeschool morning work and handwriting warm-ups.
