Item details
Meet Quillwright Chisel, a calligraphic, slightly slanted display typeface made for invitations and menus, certificate names and more. Quillwright Chisel is drawn with a 35-degree chisel pen, so diagonals turn thick and cross-strokes thin, as in broad-nib writing. A light 6-degree slant, a two-storey a, an angled-bar e and a curved-tail y give it the rhythm of formal italic lettering without joined strokes.
The ZIP contains the Regular weight as OTF, TTF and WOFF2 (3 font files), a PDF specimen, a read-me and the license text. Character set: 150 per font. 95 basic Latin characters, including the space, and 55 accented Latin-1 characters (À Á Â Ã Ä Å Ç È É Ê Ë Ì Í Î Ï Ñ Ò Ó Ô Õ Ö Ù Ú Û Ü Ý and lowercase forms, ¡ and ¿). Kerning is included for tricky pairs like TA, Yo, AT.
Try it on storybook titles, certificate names or invitations and menus. Works with desktop applications that accept OTF or TTF files; WOFF2 files are supplied for web embedding. Install steps are in the README: unzip, open the font file and choose Install. Load the WOFF2 files with @font-face if you build a website.
You may use the fonts commercially (print, merchandise, branding, web, apps) and embed them in documents, but you may not pass the font files on or sell them.
