Item details
Stitchy Seam is an original dashed stitch display font from Educo, delivered as OTF, TTF and WOFF2 for desktop, print and web use. Stitchy Seam replaces every stroke with a row of flat dashes, so each letter looks sewn on with running stitches. The dashes are 62 units long with 50-unit gaps and are fitted to each curve so a stitch never lands off its path. Colour it in a thread shade and it reads as embroidery on screen or paper.
The ZIP contains the Regular weight as OTF, TTF and WOFF2 (3 font files), a PDF specimen, a read-me and the license text. Each font file holds 150 characters: the 95 basic Latin characters (A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, punctuation, symbols and the space) plus 55 extra Latin-1 characters (53 accented letters such as À, É, Ñ, Ü and ç, and the Spanish ¡ and ¿). Kerning is included for tricky pairs like AV, TA, Yo.
Typical jobs: sewing and craft club signs, patch and tag mockups, cut-line lettering. Works with desktop applications that accept OTF or TTF files; WOFF2 files are supplied for web embedding. Install steps are in the README: unzip, open the font file and choose Install. Load the WOFF2 files with @font-face if you build a website.
License summary: free for personal and commercial projects, including products for sale, logos, websites and apps; fonts may be embedded; please do not redistribute or resell the font files.
