Item details
Meet Tracer Dots, a dotted, worksheet display typeface made for name-tracing cards, alphabet tracing pages and more. Tracer Dots draws each letter as a fine line of dots along the letter's centre path, ready for pencil tracing. Dots are 12 units in radius with a 38-unit pitch; the single-storey a and the plain printed forms follow school handwriting models. Print at 60 to 120 pt on a worksheet and let learners join the dots.
Every file covers 150 characters. That is the full basic Latin set of 95 (letters, numerals, punctuation, symbols, space) and 55 Latin-1 extras: 53 accented letters plus ¡ and ¿. Built-in kerning covers pairs such as AV, TA, Yo, AT. The ZIP contains the Regular weight as OTF, TTF and WOFF2 (3 font files), a PDF specimen, a read-me and the license text.
Typical jobs: name-tracing cards, alphabet tracing pages, handwriting warm-ups. Install steps are in the README: unzip, open the font file and choose Install. Load the WOFF2 files with @font-face if you build a website. Works with desktop applications that accept OTF or TTF files; WOFF2 files are supplied for web embedding.
License summary: free for personal and commercial projects, including products for sale, logos, websites and apps; fonts may be embedded; please do not redistribute or resell the font files.
