Item details
Download Stretchwell Wide: a extended wide typeface drawn from scratch, with 150 characters in every font file. Stretchwell Wide stretches a clean geometric sans to one and a half times its normal width, with softly rounded corners. Three weights climb from Regular through Bold to a very heavy Black, and the W has four full-height strokes. Wide letters make a short word fill a banner without any extra tracking.
Each font file holds 150 characters: the 95 basic Latin characters (A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, punctuation, symbols and the space) plus 55 extra Latin-1 characters (53 accented letters such as À, É, Ñ, Ü and ç, and the Spanish ¡ and ¿). Kerning is included for tricky pairs like AV, TA, Yo. The family comes in 3 weights (Regular, Bold and Black); each is supplied as OTF, TTF and WOFF2, which makes 9 font files in one ZIP, together with a PDF specimen, a read-me and the license.
Try it on slide headings, door and wall signs or wide banner titles. Unzip, then install the OTF or TTF files like any other font (right-click, Install on Windows; double-click, Install Font on Mac). The WOFF2 files are for websites. Works with desktop applications that accept OTF or TTF files; WOFF2 files are supplied for web embedding.
License summary: free for personal and commercial projects, including products for sale, logos, websites and apps; fonts may be embedded; please do not redistribute or resell the font files.
