Item details
Meet Tangelo Stencil, a stencilled, sturdy display typeface made for storage crate labels, science lab signs and more. Tangelo Stencil is a square-pen stencil face whose bridges cut straight through every enclosed counter. You will see the gaps in A B D O P Q R and in a b d e g o p q; the zero is slashed and the 7 carries a crossbar, to avoid confusion with O and 1. The cuts are 36 units wide, so they survive when you shrink a sign or when you spray, vinyl-cut or burn it.
Each font file holds 150 characters: the 95 basic Latin characters (A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, punctuation, symbols and the space) plus 55 extra Latin-1 characters (53 accented letters such as À, É, Ñ, Ü and ç, and the Spanish ¡ and ¿). Built-in kerning covers pairs such as AV, TA, Yo, AT. The ZIP contains the Regular weight as OTF, TTF and WOFF2 (3 font files), a PDF specimen, a read-me and the license text.
Typical jobs: storage crate labels, science lab signs, sports day numbers. Install steps are in the README: unzip, open the font file and choose Install. Load the WOFF2 files with @font-face if you build a website. Works with desktop applications that accept OTF or TTF files; WOFF2 files are supplied for web embedding.
The included license allows personal and commercial use in print, products, logos, web and apps, with embedding permitted; the font files themselves may not be resold or shared.
