Floral Corner Spray: an embroidery border design built from simple, bold shapes that stitch out crisply.
It is built from an L-shaped corner spray of two bean-stitch stems, 10 satin leaves and three satin daisies with filled centres.
4x4 hoop version: 87.8 × 89.0 mm (3.46 × 3.50 in), 1,919 stitches. 5x7 hoop version: 118.4 × 120.0 mm (4.66 × 4.72 in), 2,800 stitches.
It uses 7 thread colours: Sage Green (#8FA382), Coral (#E8705F), Mustard Yellow (#D4A22A), Coral (#E8705F), Mustard Yellow (#D4A22A), Coral (#E8705F), Mustard Yellow (#D4A22A), sewn in that order.
One ZIP download holds 9 files: the design in DST, PES and JEF for both hoop sizes (separate 4x4 and 5x7 folders), a PNG preview rendered from the stitches, a PDF colour chart and a short README with stitching notes. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece. Technically: edge-walk and lattice underlay beneath tatami fills (0.42 mm rows), satin columns at 0.4 mm spacing, locked starts and ends, trims between disconnected parts, and maximum stitch length kept near 7 mm. Use it as a trim on table runners, towel bands, skirt hems or sleeve cuffs, re-hooping to repeat the motif.
We re-opened each exported file to check the stitch count, the measured size and the number of colour stops. Please test-stitch before using on a final item. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
