Original crossed Fern Pair embroidery file, made for home and small commercial embroidery machines.
Elements in the design: two crossed fern fronds in two greens and satin centre ribs with 56 tapering satin leaflets.
The 4x4 file stitches out at 86.6 × 91.2 mm (3.41 × 3.59 in) in 6,334 stitches; the 5x7 file at 116.8 × 122.6 mm (4.60 × 4.83 in) in 8,830 stitches.
Thread colours in sewing order (2 colour stops): Sage Green (#8FA382), Moss Green (#7A8C4E).
All files come together in one ZIP (9 items): DST, PES and JEF files sorted into 4x4 and 5x7 folders, plus a PNG preview, a PDF thread chart with sizes and per-colour stitch counts, and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Digitizing details: tatami fills (0.42 mm rows, offset 3.2 mm stitches) sit on an edge-walk plus cross-hatch underlay, satin columns are sewn at 0.4 mm density with underlay, and every colour section has tie-in and tie-off stitches with trims between separated pieces. Recommended: medium cut-away stabilizer for T-shirts and fleece, tear-away for tote bags and napkins, a wash-away topper on terry towels; standard 40 wt thread and a 75/11 needle. Lovely on tote bags, tea towels, pillow covers and sweatshirts.
The files were generated in software and checked by reading every DST, PES and JEF file back to confirm stitch count, size and colour stops; please do a test stitch-out on scrap fabric first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
