A lotus Flower for machine embroidery, drawn as clean geometric shapes and digitized for two hoop sizes.
Stitch elements: a five-petal lotus with layered filled petals in two colours and two satin water-ripple arcs.
Colour sequence: Lilac (#C7B3DC), Mauve (#A5707E), Lilac (#C7B3DC), Teal (#1F7A7A). Swap in any shades you like; the chart lists stitches per colour.
The 4x4 file stitches out at 91.6 × 81.2 mm (3.61 × 3.20 in) in 4,481 stitches; the 5x7 file at 123.0 × 109.2 mm (4.84 × 4.30 in) in 6,910 stitches.
Everything arrives in one ZIP (9 files): DST, PES and JEF files in a 4x4 folder and a 5x7 folder, a PNG stitch preview, a colour-change chart PDF (thread order, colour names with hex values, stitch counts per colour, sizes in mm and inches) and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Stitch settings: 0.42 mm tatami row spacing, 3.2 mm fill stitch length with a staggered pattern, 0.4 mm satin spacing, underlay under all fills and wider satins, lock stitches at starts and ends, and trim commands between objects. Hoop the fabric with a suitable stabilizer (cut-away on knits, tear-away on wovens), use 40 wt polyester or rayon thread and a sharp 75/11 embroidery needle. Great for gifts: try it on a canvas bag, a baby blanket, a cushion or a denim jacket.
The files were generated in software and checked by reading every DST, PES and JEF file back to confirm stitch count, size and colour stops; please do a test stitch-out on scrap fabric first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
