Blossom Branch: an embroidery floral design built from simple, bold shapes that stitch out crisply.
What is stitched: a satin branch with a side twig, 4 filled five-petal blossoms and run-stitch stamens and filled flower centres.
The 4x4 file stitches out at 91.0 × 78.8 mm (3.58 × 3.10 in) in 3,825 stitches; the 5x7 file at 122.4 × 106.2 mm (4.82 × 4.18 in) in 5,538 stitches.
Thread colours in sewing order (3 colour stops): Cinnamon (#9A5B34), Blush Pink (#EBB4B4), Raspberry (#C23A6B).
One ZIP download holds 9 files: the design in DST, PES and JEF for both hoop sizes (separate 4x4 and 5x7 folders), a PNG preview rendered from the stitches, a PDF colour chart and a short README with stitching notes. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Fills are tatami stitch at 0.42 mm row spacing with staggered 3.2 mm stitches over edge-walk and lattice underlay; satin columns are 0.4 mm apart with centre-run or edge-walk underlay. Each section begins and ends with tie stitches, and separate parts are joined by trims. Lovely on tote bags, tea towels, pillow covers and sweatshirts. Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece.
The files were generated in software and checked by reading every DST, PES and JEF file back to confirm stitch count, size and colour stops; please do a test stitch-out on scrap fabric first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
