A berry Branch Sprig for machine embroidery, drawn as clean geometric shapes and digitized for two hoop sizes.
What is stitched: a curved bean-stitch stem, 9 tapered satin leaves and four filled berries.
Sewing order and colours: Chocolate Brown (#5A3A26), Forest Green (#2E5B3A), Cherry Red (#C8202F) (3 stops in total).
The 4x4 file stitches out at 57.8 × 89.6 mm (2.28 × 3.53 in) in 1,522 stitches; the 5x7 file at 106.8 × 167.4 mm (4.20 × 6.59 in) in 2,890 stitches.
The download is one ZIP of 9 files: three machine formats (DST, PES, JEF) at two hoop sizes, a stitch-rendered PNG, a colour chart PDF and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Built with underlay first, then tatami fill at 0.42 mm row spacing and satin at 0.4 mm spacing; no stitch is longer than about 7 mm and starts and stops are locked with short tie stitches. For best results use 40 wt embroidery thread, a 75/11 needle and a stabilizer matched to the fabric (cut-away for stretchy fabrics, tear-away for woven cotton, linen and canvas). Ideal for linens, pouches, bags, shirts and handmade gifts.
Files were validated by loading them back and comparing stitch totals and extents across formats; a quick test on scrap fabric is still the best way to dial in tension. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
