Add a botanical Leaf Sprig to your sewing projects with this ready-to-stitch floral design.
The design is made up of a curved bean-stitch stem and 11 tapered satin leaves.
It uses 2 thread colours: Olive Green (#6B7339), Sage Green (#8FA382), sewn in that order.
4x4 hoop version: 57.8 × 89.6 mm (2.28 × 3.53 in), 1,400 stitches. 5x7 hoop version: 106.8 × 167.4 mm (4.20 × 6.59 in), 2,581 stitches.
One ZIP download holds 9 files: the design in DST, PES and JEF for both hoop sizes (separate 4x4 and 5x7 folders), a PNG preview rendered from the stitches, a PDF colour chart and a short README with stitching notes. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Built with underlay first, then tatami fill at 0.42 mm row spacing and satin at 0.4 mm spacing; no stitch is longer than about 7 mm and starts and stops are locked with short tie stitches. Works well on pillowcases, totes, baby bodysuits, caps and patches. Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece.
Quality check: all three formats were re-read after saving to confirm matching stitch counts and hoop-safe sizes. Sew a test piece before stitching on a finished garment. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
