Add a geometric Triangle Hexagon to your sewing projects with this ready-to-stitch motif.
Stitch elements: 88 filled triangle tiles in a hexagonal mosaic, tiles randomly coloured from three threads and a hexagon border of six satin columns.
Colour sequence: Dusty Rose (#C98B8F), Mint Green (#A6D8BF), Charcoal (#3A3B3F). Swap in any shades you like; the chart lists stitches per colour.
Stitch count is 10,195 for the 4x4 version (91.8 × 80.0 mm) and 15,264 for the 5x7 version (123.6 × 107.4 mm, about 4.87 × 4.23 in).
You receive a single ZIP containing 9 files. Inside: 4x4/ and 5x7/ folders with DST, PES and JEF versions, a stitch preview PNG, a printable colour chart PDF listing every thread stop with hex values and stitch counts, and README.txt. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Works well on pillowcases, totes, baby bodysuits, caps and patches. Suggested setup: 40 wt polyester or rayon thread, a 75/11 embroidery needle, cut-away stabilizer on knits and sweatshirts, tear-away on stable cotton and canvas, and a water-soluble topper on towels. Stitch settings: 0.42 mm tatami row spacing, 3.2 mm fill stitch length with a staggered pattern, 0.4 mm satin spacing, underlay under all fills and wider satins, lock stitches at starts and ends, and trim commands between objects.
We re-opened each exported file to check the stitch count, the measured size and the number of colour stops. Please test-stitch before using on a final item. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
