Add a mountain Peaks Circle Badge to your sewing projects with this ready-to-stitch motif.
The design is made up of two filled mountain peaks with zig-zag snow caps, a filled sun, a satin circle frame and a bean-stitch ground line.
The palette is Mustard Yellow (#D4A22A), Forest Green (#2E5B3A), Bright White (#FAFAF7), Sage Green (#8FA382); each colour is sewn once in that order.
4x4 hoop version: 92.2 × 92.2 mm (3.63 × 3.63 in), 5,111 stitches. 5x7 hoop version: 124.2 × 124.2 mm (4.89 × 4.89 in), 8,343 stitches.
The download is one ZIP of 9 files: three machine formats (DST, PES, JEF) at two hoop sizes, a stitch-rendered PNG, a colour chart PDF and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Use it on kitchen towels, napkins, aprons, hoodies or quilt blocks. Hoop the fabric with a suitable stabilizer (cut-away on knits, tear-away on wovens), use 40 wt polyester or rayon thread and a sharp 75/11 embroidery needle. Fills are tatami stitch at 0.42 mm row spacing with staggered 3.2 mm stitches over edge-walk and lattice underlay; satin columns are 0.4 mm apart with centre-run or edge-walk underlay. Each section begins and ends with tie stitches, and separate parts are joined by trims.
Files were validated by loading them back and comparing stitch totals and extents across formats; a quick test on scrap fabric is still the best way to dial in tension. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
