This motif is a rainbow With Clouds stitched with a mix of fill, satin and running stitches.
Stitch elements: a rainbow of 5 satin arcs and two puffy filled clouds.
Sewing order and colours: Cherry Red (#C8202F), Tangerine (#EE8A2F), Sunflower Yellow (#F2C230), Leaf Green (#5E9A48), Royal Blue (#2A4FA8), Bright White (#FAFAF7) (6 stops in total).
Sizes: 92 × 57 mm (3.63 × 2.24 in, 4,623 stitches) fitting a 4x4 hoop, plus 171 × 104 mm (6.74 × 4.11 in, 9,760 stitches) for a 5x7 hoop. The 5x7 version is laid out landscape, so load the 130 × 180 mm hoop sideways or rotate the design 90° on your machine screen.
One ZIP download holds 9 files: the design in DST, PES and JEF for both hoop sizes (separate 4x4 and 5x7 folders), a PNG preview rendered from the stitches, a PDF colour chart and a short README with stitching notes. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Stitch on cotton, linen, canvas, denim, fleece or knit with the right backing: cut-away for anything stretchy, tear-away for firm wovens, plus topping on high-pile fabrics. Suited to home decor and apparel alike: cushions, wall hoops, jackets and tote bags. Built with underlay first, then tatami fill at 0.42 mm row spacing and satin at 0.4 mm spacing; no stitch is longer than about 7 mm and starts and stops are locked with short tie stitches.
Each file was verified after export (reloaded and checked for size, stitch count and colour stops). Results vary by machine, fabric and stabilizer, so run a sample first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
