This motif is a frosted Crystal Snowflake stitched with a mix of fill, satin and running stitches.
The design is made up of six satin arms with eighteen angled satin branches, a filled six-point star centre, a running-stitch hexagon ring and six filled diamond tips.
4x4 hoop version: 80.0 × 91.4 mm (3.15 × 3.60 in), 3,260 stitches. 5x7 hoop version: 107.6 × 123.4 mm (4.24 × 4.86 in), 4,700 stitches.
Thread colours in sewing order (2 colour stops): Teal (#1F7A7A), Silver Grey (#B9BBBD).
You receive a single ZIP containing 9 files. Inside: 4x4/ and 5x7/ folders with DST, PES and JEF versions, a stitch preview PNG, a printable colour chart PDF listing every thread stop with hex values and stitch counts, and README.txt. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Suited to home decor and apparel alike: cushions, wall hoops, jackets and tote bags. Suggested setup: 40 wt polyester or rayon thread, a 75/11 embroidery needle, cut-away stabilizer on knits and sweatshirts, tear-away on stable cotton and canvas, and a water-soluble topper on towels. Fill areas use staggered tatami (0.42 mm rows) with underlay to keep fabric flat, satin edges are spaced at 0.4 mm, and travel runs hide along edges where possible; trims and tie stitches are included.
Files were validated by loading them back and comparing stitch totals and extents across formats; a quick test on scrap fabric is still the best way to dial in tension. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
