Add a patchwork Striped Heart to your sewing projects with this ready-to-stitch motif.
Elements in the design: a heart split into 5 horizontal patchwork bands with alternating fill angles and a bean-stitch outline.
Colour sequence: Denim Blue (#4A6587), Peach (#F2B48F), Butter Cream (#F2E2A6). Swap in any shades you like; the chart lists stitches per colour.
Two sizes are included. The small file measures 92.0 × 83.4 mm (3.62 × 3.28 in) with 5,863 stitches; the large file measures 124.0 × 112.6 mm (4.88 × 4.43 in) with 9,316 stitches.
Delivered as one ZIP with 9 files: embroidery files in DST, PES and JEF for a 4x4 hoop and a 5x7 hoop, a PNG of the stitched design, a colour change chart (PDF) and README.txt. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Technically: edge-walk and lattice underlay beneath tatami fills (0.42 mm rows), satin columns at 0.4 mm spacing, locked starts and ends, trims between disconnected parts, and maximum stitch length kept near 7 mm. Lovely on tote bags, tea towels, pillow covers and sweatshirts. Stitch on cotton, linen, canvas, denim, fleece or knit with the right backing: cut-away for anything stretchy, tear-away for firm wovens, plus topping on high-pile fabrics.
Quality check: all three formats were re-read after saving to confirm matching stitch counts and hoop-safe sizes. Sew a test piece before stitching on a finished garment. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
