Heart Wreath Circle: an embroidery motif built from simple, bold shapes that stitch out crisply.
Elements in the design: a ring of 12 small hearts in two alternating colours and a large filled heart in the centre.
Sewing order and colours: Dusty Rose (#C98B8F), Mauve (#A5707E), Burgundy (#6E1E2E) (3 stops in total).
Sizes: 92 × 92 mm (3.63 × 3.63 in, 4,746 stitches) fitting a 4x4 hoop, plus 124 × 124 mm (4.89 × 4.89 in, 7,365 stitches) for a 5x7 hoop.
One ZIP download holds 9 files: the design in DST, PES and JEF for both hoop sizes (separate 4x4 and 5x7 folders), a PNG preview rendered from the stitches, a PDF colour chart and a short README with stitching notes. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Ideal for linens, pouches, bags, shirts and handmade gifts. Stitch settings: 0.42 mm tatami row spacing, 3.2 mm fill stitch length with a staggered pattern, 0.4 mm satin spacing, underlay under all fills and wider satins, lock stitches at starts and ends, and trim commands between objects. Hoop the fabric with a suitable stabilizer (cut-away on knits, tear-away on wovens), use 40 wt polyester or rayon thread and a sharp 75/11 embroidery needle.
Every format was written with a stitch library and re-opened to verify stitch counts, dimensions and colour changes. As with any design, a test sew-out on similar fabric is recommended. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
