Three Hearts Cluster: an embroidery motif built from simple, bold shapes that stitch out crisply.
Stitch elements: three overlapping hearts in three fill colours, the front heart sewn last.
Sizes: 92 × 64 mm (3.63 × 2.53 in, 4,248 stitches) fitting a 4x4 hoop, plus 172 × 120 mm (6.78 × 4.72 in, 12,362 stitches) for a 5x7 hoop. The 5x7 version is laid out landscape, so load the 130 × 180 mm hoop sideways or rotate the design 90° on your machine screen.
Suggested threads, in the order the machine stops for them: Hot Pink (#E0458A), Coral (#E8705F), Raspberry (#C23A6B).
The download is one ZIP of 9 files: three machine formats (DST, PES, JEF) at two hoop sizes, a stitch-rendered PNG, a colour chart PDF and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Use it on kitchen towels, napkins, aprons, hoodies or quilt blocks. Fills are tatami stitch at 0.42 mm row spacing with staggered 3.2 mm stitches over edge-walk and lattice underlay; satin columns are 0.4 mm apart with centre-run or edge-walk underlay. Each section begins and ends with tie stitches, and separate parts are joined by trims. For best results use 40 wt embroidery thread, a 75/11 needle and a stabilizer matched to the fabric (cut-away for stretchy fabrics, tear-away for woven cotton, linen and canvas).
We re-opened each exported file to check the stitch count, the measured size and the number of colour stops. Please test-stitch before using on a final item. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
