This motif is a sixteen Petal Lace Mandala stitched with a mix of fill, satin and running stitches.
Elements in the design: 16 filled inner petals around a filled centre, 16 outer petals in tapered satin, a ring of 32 filled dots and a wavy satin outer ring.
Two sizes are included. The small file measures 92.2 × 92.2 mm (3.63 × 3.63 in) with 7,634 stitches; the large file measures 124.2 × 124.2 mm (4.89 × 4.89 in) with 11,351 stitches.
Thread colours in sewing order (3 colour stops): Plum (#6C3466), Mint Green (#A6D8BF), Lilac (#C7B3DC).
All files come together in one ZIP (9 items): DST, PES and JEF files sorted into 4x4 and 5x7 folders, plus a PNG preview, a PDF thread chart with sizes and per-colour stitch counts, and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece. Lovely on tote bags, tea towels, pillow covers and sweatshirts. Technically: edge-walk and lattice underlay beneath tatami fills (0.42 mm rows), satin columns at 0.4 mm spacing, locked starts and ends, trims between disconnected parts, and maximum stitch length kept near 7 mm.
Each file was verified after export (reloaded and checked for size, stitch count and colour stops). Results vary by machine, fabric and stabilizer, so run a sample first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
