Add a sunburst Mandala to your sewing projects with this ready-to-stitch motif.
Stitch elements: 12 filled inner petals around a filled centre, 12 outer petals in tapered satin, a ring of 24 filled dots and a wavy satin outer ring.
Finished sizes measured from the files: 92.2 × 92.2 mm for the 4x4 hoop (6,343 stitches) and 124.2 × 124.2 mm for the 5x7 hoop (9,567 stitches).
Sewing order and colours: Teal (#1F7A7A), Butter Cream (#F2E2A6), Tangerine (#EE8A2F) (3 stops in total).
You receive a single ZIP containing 9 files. Inside: 4x4/ and 5x7/ folders with DST, PES and JEF versions, a stitch preview PNG, a printable colour chart PDF listing every thread stop with hex values and stitch counts, and README.txt. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Suited to home decor and apparel alike: cushions, wall hoops, jackets and tote bags. Hoop the fabric with a suitable stabilizer (cut-away on knits, tear-away on wovens), use 40 wt polyester or rayon thread and a sharp 75/11 embroidery needle. Built with underlay first, then tatami fill at 0.42 mm row spacing and satin at 0.4 mm spacing; no stitch is longer than about 7 mm and starts and stops are locked with short tie stitches.
Files were validated by loading them back and comparing stitch totals and extents across formats; a quick test on scrap fabric is still the best way to dial in tension. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
