Original folk Medallion Mandala embroidery file, made for home and small commercial embroidery machines.
Elements in the design: 12 filled inner petals around a filled centre, 12 outer petals in tatami fill, a ring of 24 filled dots and a wavy satin outer ring.
Suggested threads, in the order the machine stops for them: Burgundy (#6E1E2E), Gold Ochre (#C9952B), Blush Pink (#EBB4B4).
Stitch count is 7,520 for the 4x4 version (92.2 × 92.2 mm) and 11,860 for the 5x7 version (124.2 × 124.2 mm, about 4.89 × 4.89 in).
Delivered as one ZIP with 9 files: embroidery files in DST, PES and JEF for a 4x4 hoop and a 5x7 hoop, a PNG of the stitched design, a colour change chart (PDF) and README.txt. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Great for gifts: try it on a canvas bag, a baby blanket, a cushion or a denim jacket. Built with underlay first, then tatami fill at 0.42 mm row spacing and satin at 0.4 mm spacing; no stitch is longer than about 7 mm and starts and stops are locked with short tie stitches. Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece.
Each file was verified after export (reloaded and checked for size, stitch count and colour stops). Results vary by machine, fabric and stabilizer, so run a sample first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
