Item details
Stitch the initial J in a diamond setting. The capital is drawn from a bold retro script and digitized as a filled shape with clean edges.
Inside the file you will find the letter J in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a diamond frame with satin sides and a bean-stitch inner diamond.
The 4x4 file stitches out at 91.4 × 91.4 mm (3.60 × 3.60 in) in 2,686 stitches; the 5x7 file at 123.2 × 123.2 mm (4.85 × 4.85 in) in 3,992 stitches.
It uses 2 thread colours: Charcoal (#3A3B3F), Cherry Red (#C8202F), sewn in that order.
The download is one ZIP of 9 files: three machine formats (DST, PES, JEF) at two hoop sizes, a stitch-rendered PNG, a colour chart PDF and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Ideal for linens, pouches, bags, shirts and handmade gifts. Fill areas use staggered tatami (0.42 mm rows) with underlay to keep fabric flat, satin edges are spaced at 0.4 mm, and travel runs hide along edges where possible; trims and tie stitches are included. Hoop the fabric with a suitable stabilizer (cut-away on knits, tear-away on wovens), use 40 wt polyester or rayon thread and a sharp 75/11 embroidery needle.
Every format was written with a stitch library and re-opened to verify stitch counts, dimensions and colour changes. As with any design, a test sew-out on similar fabric is recommended. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
