A ready-made initial X for machine embroidery: classic book serif lettering inside a double ring frame, supplied for two hoop sizes.
It is built from the letter X in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a double ring (bean-stitch inner ring and satin outer ring).
Two sizes are included. The small file measures 92.2 × 92.2 mm (3.63 × 3.63 in) with 4,848 stitches; the large file measures 124.2 × 124.2 mm (4.89 × 4.89 in) with 7,070 stitches.
The palette is Sand (#D9C3A0), Camel (#C29A6B), Chocolate Brown (#5A3A26); each colour is sewn once in that order.
Everything arrives in one ZIP (9 files): DST, PES and JEF files in a 4x4 folder and a 5x7 folder, a PNG stitch preview, a colour-change chart PDF (thread order, colour names with hex values, stitch counts per colour, sizes in mm and inches) and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Fills are tatami stitch at 0.42 mm row spacing with staggered 3.2 mm stitches over edge-walk and lattice underlay; satin columns are 0.4 mm apart with centre-run or edge-walk underlay. Each section begins and ends with tie stitches, and separate parts are joined by trims. Use it on kitchen towels, napkins, aprons, hoodies or quilt blocks. Suggested setup: 40 wt polyester or rayon thread, a 75/11 embroidery needle, cut-away stabilizer on knits and sweatshirts, tear-away on stable cotton and canvas, and a water-soluble topper on towels.
Each file was verified after export (reloaded and checked for size, stitch count and colour stops). Results vary by machine, fabric and stabilizer, so run a sample first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
