Item details
A outlined monogram of the letter U, digitized for home embroidery machines. The initial is set in a friendly rounded sans and stitched as a smooth tatami fill.
The design is made up of the letter U in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a bean-stitch halo outline 2 mm outside the letter.
It uses 2 thread colours: Plum (#6C3466), Lavender (#AE9BD0), sewn in that order.
Two sizes are included. The small file measures 77.0 × 92.0 mm (3.03 × 3.62 in) with 5,383 stitches; the large file measures 103.6 × 124.0 mm (4.08 × 4.88 in) with 8,688 stitches.
One ZIP download holds 9 files: the design in DST, PES and JEF for both hoop sizes (separate 4x4 and 5x7 folders), a PNG preview rendered from the stitches, a PDF colour chart and a short README with stitching notes. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Works well on pillowcases, totes, baby bodysuits, caps and patches. Technically: edge-walk and lattice underlay beneath tatami fills (0.42 mm rows), satin columns at 0.4 mm spacing, locked starts and ends, trims between disconnected parts, and maximum stitch length kept near 7 mm. For best results use 40 wt embroidery thread, a 75/11 needle and a stabilizer matched to the fabric (cut-away for stretchy fabrics, tear-away for woven cotton, linen and canvas).
We re-opened each exported file to check the stitch count, the measured size and the number of colour stops. Please test-stitch before using on a final item. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
