Personalize with the initial S: this machine embroidery monogram pairs a bouncy handwritten script letter with a leaf sprig frame.
The design is made up of the letter S in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and two curved leafy sprigs cradling the letter (16 satin leaves).
It uses 5 thread colours: Olive Green (#6B7339), Leaf Green (#5E9A48), Olive Green (#6B7339), Leaf Green (#5E9A48), Rust (#A2482A), sewn in that order.
Stitch count is 2,938 for the 4x4 version (89.2 × 69.0 mm) and 5,648 for the 5x7 version (158.8 × 122.6 mm, about 6.25 × 4.83 in). Because the large version is wider than it is tall, rotate it 90° on the machine or hoop the 5x7 frame in landscape orientation.
All files come together in one ZIP (9 items): DST, PES and JEF files sorted into 4x4 and 5x7 folders, plus a PNG preview, a PDF thread chart with sizes and per-colour stitch counts, and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Ideal for linens, pouches, bags, shirts and handmade gifts. Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece. Built with underlay first, then tatami fill at 0.42 mm row spacing and satin at 0.4 mm spacing; no stitch is longer than about 7 mm and starts and stops are locked with short tie stitches.
Files were validated by loading them back and comparing stitch totals and extents across formats; a quick test on scrap fabric is still the best way to dial in tension. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
