Personalize with the initial R: this machine embroidery monogram pairs a heavy fat-face serif letter with a circle frame.
It is built from the letter R in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a satin-stitch circle ring.
Suggested threads, in the order the machine stops for them: Sunflower Yellow (#F2C230), Royal Blue (#2A4FA8).
Sizes: 92 × 92 mm (3.63 × 3.63 in, 5,390 stitches) fitting a 4x4 hoop, plus 124 × 124 mm (4.89 × 4.89 in, 7,672 stitches) for a 5x7 hoop.
All files come together in one ZIP (9 items): DST, PES and JEF files sorted into 4x4 and 5x7 folders, plus a PNG preview, a PDF thread chart with sizes and per-colour stitch counts, and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Technically: edge-walk and lattice underlay beneath tatami fills (0.42 mm rows), satin columns at 0.4 mm spacing, locked starts and ends, trims between disconnected parts, and maximum stitch length kept near 7 mm. Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece. Works well on pillowcases, totes, baby bodysuits, caps and patches.
Each file was verified after export (reloaded and checked for size, stitch count and colour stops). Results vary by machine, fabric and stabilizer, so run a sample first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
