A ready-made initial O for machine embroidery: elegant display serif lettering inside a leafy vine frame, supplied for two hoop sizes.
Stitch elements: the letter O in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a round vine of bean stitch with 12 satin leaves.
Suggested threads, in the order the machine stops for them: Olive Green (#6B7339), Burgundy (#6E1E2E).
Sizes: 89 × 86 mm (3.51 × 3.38 in, 3,525 stitches) fitting a 4x4 hoop, plus 120 × 116 mm (4.72 × 4.56 in, 4,816 stitches) for a 5x7 hoop.
The download is one ZIP of 9 files: three machine formats (DST, PES, JEF) at two hoop sizes, a stitch-rendered PNG, a colour chart PDF and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Hoop the fabric with a suitable stabilizer (cut-away on knits, tear-away on wovens), use 40 wt polyester or rayon thread and a sharp 75/11 embroidery needle. Great for gifts: try it on a canvas bag, a baby blanket, a cushion or a denim jacket. Fill areas use staggered tatami (0.42 mm rows) with underlay to keep fabric flat, satin edges are spaced at 0.4 mm, and travel runs hide along edges where possible; trims and tie stitches are included.
Quality check: all three formats were re-read after saving to confirm matching stitch counts and hoop-safe sizes. Sew a test piece before stitching on a finished garment. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
