Personalize with the initial M: this machine embroidery monogram pairs a bold high-contrast serif letter with a scalloped frame.
Stitch elements: the letter M in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a wavy scalloped satin ring with 18 lobes and 18 tiny filled dots.
It uses 3 thread colours: Blush Pink (#EBB4B4), Antique Gold (#B8913A), Navy Blue (#1F2A4D), sewn in that order.
4x4 hoop version: 92.2 × 90.8 mm (3.63 × 3.57 in), 4,611 stitches. 5x7 hoop version: 124.2 × 122.4 mm (4.89 × 4.82 in), 7,128 stitches.
You receive a single ZIP containing 9 files. Inside: 4x4/ and 5x7/ folders with DST, PES and JEF versions, a stitch preview PNG, a printable colour chart PDF listing every thread stop with hex values and stitch counts, and README.txt. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Fills are tatami stitch at 0.42 mm row spacing with staggered 3.2 mm stitches over edge-walk and lattice underlay; satin columns are 0.4 mm apart with centre-run or edge-walk underlay. Each section begins and ends with tie stitches, and separate parts are joined by trims. For best results use 40 wt embroidery thread, a 75/11 needle and a stabilizer matched to the fabric (cut-away for stretchy fabrics, tear-away for woven cotton, linen and canvas). Works well on pillowcases, totes, baby bodysuits, caps and patches.
Each file was verified after export (reloaded and checked for size, stitch count and colour stops). Results vary by machine, fabric and stabilizer, so run a sample first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
