Stitch the initial K in a circle setting. The capital is drawn from a strong condensed sans and digitized as a filled shape with clean edges.
What is stitched: the letter K in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a satin-stitch circle ring.
Thread colours in sewing order (2 colour stops): Silver Grey (#B9BBBD), Jet Black (#1A1A1C).
Two sizes are included. The small file measures 92.2 × 92.2 mm (3.63 × 3.63 in) with 4,204 stitches; the large file measures 124.2 × 124.2 mm (4.89 × 4.89 in) with 6,331 stitches.
The download is one ZIP of 9 files: three machine formats (DST, PES, JEF) at two hoop sizes, a stitch-rendered PNG, a colour chart PDF and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Pair it with 40 weight embroidery thread, a fresh 75/11 needle and cut-away (knits) or tear-away (wovens) stabilizer; add a soluble topper on towels or fleece. Works well on pillowcases, totes, baby bodysuits, caps and patches. Stitch settings: 0.42 mm tatami row spacing, 3.2 mm fill stitch length with a staggered pattern, 0.4 mm satin spacing, underlay under all fills and wider satins, lock stitches at starts and ends, and trim commands between objects.
Files were validated by loading them back and comparing stitch totals and extents across formats; a quick test on scrap fabric is still the best way to dial in tension. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
