A ready-made initial H for machine embroidery: heavy fat-face serif lettering inside a hexagon frame, supplied for two hoop sizes.
Elements in the design: the letter H in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a hexagon frame of six satin columns.
Finished sizes measured from the files: 80.0 × 91.8 mm for the 4x4 hoop (3,967 stitches) and 107.8 × 123.6 mm for the 5x7 hoop (6,101 stitches).
Suggested threads, in the order the machine stops for them: Gold Ochre (#C9952B), Denim Blue (#4A6587).
Everything arrives in one ZIP (9 files): DST, PES and JEF files in a 4x4 folder and a 5x7 folder, a PNG stitch preview, a colour-change chart PDF (thread order, colour names with hex values, stitch counts per colour, sizes in mm and inches) and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Technically: edge-walk and lattice underlay beneath tatami fills (0.42 mm rows), satin columns at 0.4 mm spacing, locked starts and ends, trims between disconnected parts, and maximum stitch length kept near 7 mm. Works well on pillowcases, totes, baby bodysuits, caps and patches. For best results use 40 wt embroidery thread, a 75/11 needle and a stabilizer matched to the fabric (cut-away for stretchy fabrics, tear-away for woven cotton, linen and canvas).
Each file was verified after export (reloaded and checked for size, stitch count and colour stops). Results vary by machine, fabric and stabilizer, so run a sample first. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
