Monogram E embroidery file with a leaf sprig surround. The letterform is a classic book serif, filled with even tatami stitches.
It is built from the letter E in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and two curved leafy sprigs cradling the letter (16 satin leaves).
Finished sizes measured from the files: 89.2 × 69.0 mm for the 4x4 hoop (3,358 stitches) and 158.8 × 122.6 mm for the 5x7 hoop (7,795 stitches). The 5x7 version is laid out landscape, so load the 130 × 180 mm hoop sideways or rotate the design 90° on your machine screen.
Thread colours in sewing order (3 colour stops): Moss Green (#7A8C4E), Sage Green (#8FA382), Charcoal (#3A3B3F).
One ZIP download holds 9 files: the design in DST, PES and JEF for both hoop sizes (separate 4x4 and 5x7 folders), a PNG preview rendered from the stitches, a PDF colour chart and a short README with stitching notes. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
Lovely on tote bags, tea towels, pillow covers and sweatshirts. Stitch on cotton, linen, canvas, denim, fleece or knit with the right backing: cut-away for anything stretchy, tear-away for firm wovens, plus topping on high-pile fabrics. Stitch settings: 0.42 mm tatami row spacing, 3.2 mm fill stitch length with a staggered pattern, 0.4 mm satin spacing, underlay under all fills and wider satins, lock stitches at starts and ends, and trim commands between objects.
Quality check: all three formats were re-read after saving to confirm matching stitch counts and hoop-safe sizes. Sew a test piece before stitching on a finished garment. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
