This listing is the single letter B as a ready-to-stitch monogram, a soft rounded bubble sans initial framed by a outlined border.
What is stitched: the letter B in tatami fill with a run-stitch edge and a bean-stitch halo outline 2 mm outside the letter.
Suggested threads, in the order the machine stops for them: Navy Blue (#1F2A4D), Sky Blue (#7FB2DE).
4x4 hoop version: 74.4 × 92.0 mm (2.93 × 3.62 in), 6,296 stitches. 5x7 hoop version: 100.2 × 124.0 mm (3.94 × 4.88 in), 10,310 stitches.
Everything arrives in one ZIP (9 files): DST, PES and JEF files in a 4x4 folder and a 5x7 folder, a PNG stitch preview, a colour-change chart PDF (thread order, colour names with hex values, stitch counts per colour, sizes in mm and inches) and a README. Works with any embroidery machine or software that opens DST, PES or JEF files.
For best results use 40 wt embroidery thread, a 75/11 needle and a stabilizer matched to the fabric (cut-away for stretchy fabrics, tear-away for woven cotton, linen and canvas). Fills are tatami stitch at 0.42 mm row spacing with staggered 3.2 mm stitches over edge-walk and lattice underlay; satin columns are 0.4 mm apart with centre-run or edge-walk underlay. Each section begins and ends with tie stitches, and separate parts are joined by trims. Lovely on tote bags, tea towels, pillow covers and sweatshirts.
Files were validated by loading them back and comparing stitch totals and extents across formats; a quick test on scrap fabric is still the best way to dial in tension. Original design; personal use, or small-batch commercial use with the commercial licence.
