Item details
Calligraphy Practice Paper - 5 colorways of a 4 mm x-Height, 52 Degree Slant layout, drawn as vector pages and ready to print.
Each practice row has a 4 mm x-height band between the waistline and baseline, plus an ascender line 4 mm above and a descender line 4 mm below. The page holds 18 rows on Letter and 19 rows on A4; dashed lines mark the ascender and descender so the baseline and waistline stay the stars of the page.
Slant guides run at 52 degrees from horizontal, one every 10 mm along the baseline, across the full page.
The ZIP contains two multi-page PDFs, one for US Letter and one for A4, each with 5 pages, and a PNG folder with 10 images at 300 dpi, sized 2550 x 3300 px (Letter) and 2480 x 3508 px (A4). README.txt provides the color order and actual-size printing instructions. Pages are inked in Plum on White, Burgundy on White, Teal on White, Indigo on White, and Forest on White.
Practice basic strokes, drills and alphabets for pointed pen, brush pen or dip pen work. Build consistent slant, spacing and height before you move on to final projects. Suits students, homeschool families, teachers, hobbyists and office desks.
Black-and-white printers will turn the colors into soft grays, which still works well for drills and drafts. Use ordinary 20-24 lb copy paper for everyday use, or a heavier 28 lb sheet for pen and marker work. Works with any program that opens PDF or PNG files, no special software required.
This is an instant digital download; no physical item is shipped.
Works with Any PDF reader, Any image viewer, Any printer.
