Long E Spelling Deep Dive spends 7 pages on every pattern (ee, ea and e_e), then asks students to sort the mixed words. 26 pages in all, built for grades 2-3.
Every unit runs 7 pages: a word-list page with a tip box and color-highlighted pattern letters for 12 words, then practice. The practice pages rotate through word searches, ABC order, write-it-three-times pages, trace-and-write lines, find-and-circle the pattern, rainbow writing, missing-letter tiles, look-cover-write-check charts, word scrambles and sentence writing, so no two weeks look the same. From the lists: long e spelled ee (Unit 1) includes street, green, seed, and feet; long e spelled ea (Unit 2) includes team, each, beach, and eat.
Answer keys are included for ABC-order lists, unscrambled words, missing letters, circled patterns, word search solution grids, every test word in read-aloud order and the sorting pages; open-ended pages such as sentence writing are meant for a parent or teacher to read.
