Give grade 2 students 12 weeks of organized spelling practice: 120 words, 51 pages, and a plan that never repeats the same busywork twice. The weekly focus moves through double final letters, short vowels before -nk and -ng, long u with silent e, long i spelled igh and long vowels before -ind, -ild, -old, -olt, plus 7 more.
Every week runs 4 pages: a word-list page with a tip box and color-highlighted pattern letters for 10 words, then practice. Activities used across the pack: word scrambles, look-cover-write-check charts, write-it-three-times pages, find-and-circle the pattern, sentence writing, ABC order, word searches, rainbow writing, missing-letter tiles and trace-and-write lines. They rotate week to week to keep practice fresh. The answer key PDF covers ABC-order lists, unscrambled words, missing letters, circled patterns, word search solution grids and every test word in read-aloud order. Front and back matter: a tracker page with score boxes, a 20-word review test drawn from all 12 weeks, and a printable certificate.
