Kids hard mode: 30 tough word searches covering mixed-subject vocabulary (Grades 4-8). Grids grow up to 18 × 18, and words hide backwards, upside down and on diagonals.
Across the pack there are 568 hidden words. Themes include Ancient China, Trees and Leaves, Earth Layers and Plate Tectonics, Ancient Egypt, The Scientific Method, Clothing and Fashion, Insects and Spiders and Communication Then and Now, plus 22 more; sample words are Measure, Stingray, Battlement, Reeds, Forest, Amber.
Each puzzle hides between 15 and 23 words in a grid that measures 14 × 14 up to 18 × 18; every puzzle uses the full set of eight directions including reversed words. Every page carries a puzzle number, the theme name, a name and date line, and a tidy word list you can tick off. Page 1 explains how to play and lists all 30 puzzles with check circles; pages 2 to 31 each hold a single puzzle.
Answer key: a separate PDF with 8 pages, showing four solved grids per page with every found word highlighted in color. One ZIP file holds four PDFs - puzzles and answer key, each in US Letter and A4 - so you can print whichever size fits your paper.
