24 maze puzzles with letters hidden on the path. Walk through the maze, write the letters in order, and spell a secret word (5 to 9 letters long).
The solved routes run from 21 to 45 cells, with an average of 32. A checker confirmed for every page that all cells connect and that only one route joins the entrance to the exit. The generator uses the Prim's algorithm and Kruskal's algorithm style, which produces many small side branches that tempt you off the route. Words come from a nature list, for example Blossom for maze 1 and Lagoon for maze 2. The key spells out each word.
Each page has name and date lines, ready for classroom use. There are no distracting backgrounds, which saves ink and keeps the focus on the maze.
You also get a solutions file (6 answer-key pages) showing the route for every maze, 4 to a page.
Print what you need and reuse the file as often as you like for your own classroom or family. Good for early-finisher bins, quiet-time folders, car rides and rainy days.
