For puzzle fans who finish regular word searches in minutes, this pack of 18 challenging language arts puzzles (Grades 3-8) adds large grids, long word lists and reversed words.
Across the pack there are 313 hidden words. Themes include Story Elements, Homophones, Grammar and Punctuation Terms, Synonyms, The Writing Process, Figurative Language, Poetry Terms and Prefixes and Suffixes, plus 1 more; sample words are Careful, Miniature, Zoology, Adjective, Steel, Sail.
Difficulty climbs gently from 15 × 15 grids to 17 × 17 grids, hiding 12 to 21 words each; words are hidden in all eight directions - forwards, backwards, up, down and on every diagonal. Every page carries a puzzle number, the theme name, a name and date line, and a tidy word list you can tick off. You receive 19 pages in total, which is 18 puzzles plus an introduction page with instructions and a progress checklist.
Teachers and parents get a separate colour-coded answer key of 5 pages, with four solutions on each. One ZIP file holds four PDFs - puzzles and answer key, each in US Letter and A4 - so you can print whichever size fits your paper.
