Mazes plus counting: 20 puzzles with stars scattered across the grid. Solve the maze, then count the stars your route passes through.
Solution paths are 27 to 86 cells long (about 49 on average). Every layout was verified by breadth-first search, so no maze is blocked and none has two competing answers. The generator uses the recursive backtracker style, which produces twisty routes with long dead-end tunnels. The on-route totals range from 3 to 9 stars, and the key gives the count for every maze.
The pages use a roomy margin so nothing is clipped when printed. A colour accent keeps pages bright, yet everything still reads clearly in greyscale.
You also get a solutions file (5 answer-key pages) showing the route for every maze, 4 to a page.
Teachers can print a page as a warm-up or a sub-plan filler. Use them for fine-motor practice, pencil control and planning ahead.
