This Grades 7-8 pack gives you 20 word search puzzles with a new topic on every page. Word length and grid size are matched to Grades 7-8 readers.
You get 21 to 28 words in every puzzle on 18 × 18 up to 21 × 21 grids, and every puzzle uses the full set of eight directions including reversed words. A boxed word list below the grid shows each word to find, and a name/date line at the top makes the pages easy to hand in. The PDF has 21 pages: a contents and how-to-play page with a puzzle checklist, then 20 puzzles with one on each page.
Each page has its own theme (Genes and Heredity, Bacteria Fungi and Protists, US States of the West, US States of the Midwest and South, Algebra Vocabulary, Countries of Asia, Countries of South America and Ancient Greece, plus 12 more), so you will find words such as Platelet, Colony, Commutative, Vertex, Fireworks, Hartford, Coverslip, Bogota, Crushing. The longest hidden word is Pennsylvania (12 letters).
Solutions come in their own file, 5 pages long, with coloured highlights marking where each word hides (up to four puzzles per key page). Everything arrives in one ZIP: US Letter and A4 folders, each holding the puzzles PDF and the answer key PDF.
